Year 9 serves as a vital foundation year, allowing students to explore a broad range of subjects before narrowing their focus for the two year IGCSE programme.
At RGS İstanbul, leadership is not reserved for a few; it is developed in every student. As our most senior students in the initial years, our Founding Senior Cohort will hold a special place in our history.
Meaningful Roles: Students will be encouraged to take on roles such as Head Student, Prefects, House Captains and Subject Ambassadors.
Influence & Integrity: These leaders will work directly with the Headmaster to help establish the traditions, ethical standards and the spirit of the school.
Wellbeing Ambassadors: Students will also contribute as Wellbeing Ambassadors, working closely with staff to support the emotional health of their peers and develop a culture of kindness.

We believe that strong communities shape confident individuals. Each student will be placed in a Tutor Group, led by a dedicated Form Tutor, their champion and first point of contact.
